What is Wellsteed Associates?
Wellsteed Associates is a Berkshire-based UK consultancy established in 1993 by Lorna Wellsteed. We operate on an associate basis, enabling us to respond effectively to a diverse range of client needs. As the founding consultant Lorna takes an active involvement in all Wellsteed Associate projects and is able to collaborate with experienced Associates from a variety of backgrounds, each of whom offer different specialist skills in the fields of personal and organizational development.
What we do
Our underlying purpose is to help people learn from their work and life experience to build self-awareness, develop potential and enhance capability. We make our best contributions when we work with groups, teams and individuals in the context of a wider organizational commitment to learning and development. We use low-tech, sustainable approaches such as coaching, mentoring and action learning in order that development can continue after our direct involvement has ceased. Wellsteed Associates offers a bespoke service to each project, appropriate to culture, context and available resources.
Who are our clients?
Although Wellsteed Associates works across a range of public and private sector organizations we do tend to specialize in the NHS. We can demonstrate a strong commitment and track record in health and social care organizations over a number of years. At an individual level in the public sector, we work with Chief Executives, Directors, health professionals and managers at all levels. In recent years we have tended to work extensively with multi-agency, multi-professional groups and networks.
