NHS NORTH WEST MENTORING SCHEME
Wellsteed Associates played a lead role in the original design and development of the current scheme and were involved from 2001 until 2005. The NW Mentoring Scheme is now the largest in the NHS and is thought to be the biggest public-sector mentoring scheme in the UK
(ref. Coaching at Work, CIPD publication, vol. 4 issue 2, 2009).
NETWORK DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME for Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network
The Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network is one of the leading cancer networks in the UK. The Network Development Programme is now in its sixth intake having begun in 2002. The aim of the programme is to develop the network across Merseyside and Cheshire. It focuses on leadership and service improvement using action learning techniques. Participants are health professionals, managers and technical specialists from acute trusts, specialist trusts, primary care trusts, hospices, North West Cancer Intelligence Service and the Merseyside and Cheshire Cancer Network Core Team.
LEADING CHANGE PROGRAMME FOR NORTH WEST MEDICINES MANAGEMENT NETWORK
Design and provision of a leadership development programme sponsored by the NW Medicines Management Network which began in March 2009. This is an updated approach but Wellsteed Associates has been involved in the three preceding programmes. The programme includes a development centre and action learning.
TEAM COACHING FOR PUBLIC HEALTH
Wellsteed Associates are working with a number of intact teams in Public Health in a number of contexts in England.
