This is defined as:

• A sustained intervention over a period of time aimed at helping a team define and make progress on its
  own agenda
• Helping a team grow capacity to learn and perform at a high level – not just dealing with current issues
• The application of coaching in organizational settings.

Our principles of team coaching are:

• The resources necessary for the team to be successful are available – internally or externally
• The team coach helps the team to access these resources
• The coach contracts with the team and works to their agenda as it is developed through the team
  coaching process
• All team members are resourceful, capable and have potential to learn and develop
• Team coaches fundamental concern is enhancing learning in order to improve performance
